NIOST’s Leading for Quality training is designed specifically for our client’s needs. This training is for executive directors of multi-site agencies, and directors and coordinators of single site programs. Afterschool and extended day professionals join together to boost their leadership skills, create a plan for program improvements through use of data, and strengthen their organization through a variety of hands on, experiential learning activities. In this training you will to learn how to guide program and staff improvement, strengthen administration and be more intentional in your actions as a program leader.

Goals of Training:

  • Learn how to promote high quality and engage youth
  • Learn how to support staff properly
  • Take tips back to your program to meet the needs of children through engagement in learning and building supportive staff relationships (ties to APAS tools/SAYO outcomes)
  • Build your leadership skills with hands on activities
